Dell Latitude CSX Wifi
Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because all you need to know is what OS you are running on your laptop. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your router and modem. Most USB wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. It will be easier to buy a new USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have.
What warnings are present when my onboard WiFi has to be replaced?
- The laptop wireless driver gives errors when installing
- The wireless adapter on your laptop will not connect to your router anymore
- The wireless signal drops for no reason all the time
