Dell Latitude E5520 Wifi
Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your laptop. Most USB wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. It will be easier to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your home router.
Important hints the WiFi adapter is dying
- The wireless adapter driver shows it as not installed
- The wireless adapter in your Dell laptop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- The wireless signal goes in and out throughout the day
