Dell OptiPlex 330 Wifi
The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your wireless router or modem. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your desktop. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, which means you simply plug it into a USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have.
Warnings of a poorly performing wireless internet adapter
- The desktop wireless driver cannot be installed
- The wireless adapter on your desktop will not connect to your router anymore
- The wireless signal goes out randomly over and over again
