Dell OptiPlex 7010 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy due to the fact that all you need to know beforehand is the current operating system on your desktop. The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your home router. Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which means you simply plug it into a USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have.
What are the indications that my wireless card is about to go out?
- The wireless adapter driver shows it as not installed
- The WiFi drops for no reason throughout the day
- The wireless adapter on your desktop will not connect to your router anymore
