Dell OptiPlex GX280 Wifi
Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless because all you need to know is what OS you are running on your desktop. It is much simpler to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to communicate with your home network.
What signals that my onboard WiFi is almost dead?
- The wireless signal disconnects and reconnects during the day
- The wireless adapter on your desktop does not connect at all
- The wireless adapter driver shows it as not installed
