Dell PP25L Wifi
It is cheaper and easier to purchase a new wireless USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the operating system that is installed on your laptop. Most USB wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your home router.
General indicators that your wireless internet adapter is going to die
- Your WiFi on your laptop is unable to connect to the internet
- The laptop wireless driver cannot be installed
- The wireless signal drops for no reason over and over again
