Dell PP38L Wifi
WiFi, or wireless internet, uses an adapter in order to connect to your wireless router or modem. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy due to the fact that all you need to know beforehand is the current operating system on your Dell laptop. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have. Most USB wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there.
Signs of a dying wireless card
- The wireless adapter driver shows it as not installed
- The wireless adapter in your Dell laptop does not connect at all
- Your WiFi signal disconnects and reconnects all the time
