Dell PowerEdge CS24-TY Wifi
WiFi, or wireless internet, uses an adapter to communicate with your home network. It will be easier to buy a new USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your server may have. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy due to the fact that all you need to know beforehand is the operating system that is installed on your server. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which means you simply plug it into a USB port and the OS will handle everything from there.
Signs the WiFi adapter will need to be replaced
- Your wireless internet connection has trouble connecting over and over again
- The wireless adapter in your Dell server will not connect to your router anymore
- The wireless adapter driver shows it as not installed
