Dell PowerEdge R200 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your server. Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which means you simply plug it into a USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses an adapter in order to talk to your wireless router or modem. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a new wireless USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your server may have.
Do you know if your onboard WiFi is in need of a replacement?
- The wireless signal drops multiple times during the day
- The wireless adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- The wireless adapter in your Dell server is unable to connect to the internet
