Dell PowerEdge SC440 Ram
Your server cannot run without the necessary RAM properly installed. RAM is considered volatile memory as its storage is deleted when you shut down your system. RAM stores small bits of data that the central processing unit uses for programs. The RAM speed is governed by the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is determined by the software. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like programs or emails. But, it will impact the speed of the computer. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, remember that you can never have too much RAM.
Important clues of a deteriorating RAM stick
- The main operating system cannot report the right amount of memory installed
- The server screen does not turn on when you turn your system on
- Nothing happens as you start your server
- You may get quite a few weird errors showing up on your server as you use it
