Dell Precision 390 Video Card
Integrated video cards will never be better than a dedicated video card, generally speaking. Dedicated video cards are pretty much required for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Far Cry, World of Warcraft or Battlefield. Most newer computers should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a dedicated video card to be installed on the motherboard. A graphics card processes the input and sends the rendered images to a monitor where you can see the results. There are two types of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated graphics are integrated into the motherboard itself, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. Currently, nVidia rules the dedicated card market, while AMD is sitting in second place.
