Dell Precision 450 Ram
RAM stores small bits of information for the CPU to use for programs. The clock speed of the RAM is imposed within the specifications from the motherboard, while the size is governed by the operating system. RAM is considered temporary storage as all the data it holds gets blanked out every time your turn the computer off. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like text documents or movies. Instead, it does have a correlation to the overall speed and quickness of your Dell. Having the RAM installed is mandatory in order for a computer to boot up. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
Some clues the RAM will soon need to be replaced
- The main operating system does not report the right memory amount
- Emptiness fills the air when you initiate your system
- The screen will not light up when you start your desktop
- You may get quite a few errors on your desktop as you use it
