Dell Precision M65 Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware in order to talk to your router and modem. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your Dell laptop. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a new USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have.
Simple signals the wireless card is dying
- The WiFi adapter driver cannot be installed
- The WiFi adapter on your laptop will not connect to your router anymore
- Your WiFi signal goes in and out all the time
