Dell Precision T3600 Video Card
There are really only two kinds of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated cards are built-in to the computer itself, while dedicated is a separarate piece of hardware that gets installed. Most new desktops should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a dedicated video card to be added to the system. Dedicated video cards are required for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Far Cry, World of Warcraft or Battlefield. Integrated, or onboard, graphics are not as good as a dedicated video card, in general. At the moment, graphics card maker nVidia is the most popular in the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. All video cards computes and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where it is displayed for you.
