Dell Precision T7500 Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores random bits of data that the processor uses for programs. RAM is a type of volatile memory as all the information held gets deleted every time your turn the computer off. Having the RAM installed is mandatory for a computer to run at all. The RAM speed is predetermined through the specs of the motherboard, while the actual storage size is dictated by the operating system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like picture or movies. But, it will impact the speed of your Dell Precision T7500. If you are ever in doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
What are some indications that my RAM board needs to be replaced?
- Emptiness fills the air as you try to power on your system
- The main operating system does not report the correct amount of RAM
- The screen does not light up when booting up
- You get a lot of random errors on your desktop throughout the day
