Dell Studio 1747 Ram
Your laptop RAM stores small bits of data that the CPU is currently using for applications. Some RAM is mandatory even for a computer to run correctly. RAM is considered volatile memory as the data it holds is removed every time your turn the computer off. The speed of the RAM is governed by the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is determined by the operating system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. Instead, it does have a correlation to the overall speed and quickness of your Dell. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
What red flags are there that my RAM board is in need of a replacement?
- The system does not report the correct amount of RAM as it should
- The system produces random errors on your laptop throughout the day
- The main screen will not turn on when you start your laptop
- Emptiness fills the air when trying to start your system
