Dell XPS GEN 3 Ram
RAM is a type of volatile memory as all the information held gets erased when the system shuts down. The RAM speed is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, while the size is governed by the OS. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores pieces of information that the CPU is currently using for executing commands. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as picture or movies. Instead, it will affect the speed of your desktop. RAM is necessary for a computer to even boot. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
How do you know if your RAM stick is almost going bad?
- The software fails to come up with the correct amount of RAM
- Emptiness fills the air when you start your system
- The desktop screen does not turn on when you start your desktop
- You tend to have random errors on your desktop throughout the day
