Dell XPS H266 Video Card
A dedicated graphics card is typically a required piece of hardware for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Mass Effect, Grand Theft Auto or Battlefield. A graphics card processes graphics and renders images to the monitor where it is displayed for you. There are two types of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated cards are built-in to the computer itself, whilst a dedicated card is purchased and installed onto the main board. Integrated display adapters will never be better than a separate video card, in general. At the moment, nVidia rules the dedicated card market, while AMD is in second. Most newer computers should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a graphics card to be added to the system.
