Fujitsu LIFEBOOK C7651 Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores pieces of information that the computer uses for executing commands. The speed of the RAM is prescribed within the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is guided by the operating system. RAM is considered temporary storage as all the data it holds gets removed when the system shuts down. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like documents or pictures. But, it has more to do with the speed of your laptop. RAM is necessary in order for your laptop to even boot. If there is ever a doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
What are the signs that the RAM stick is on its last leg?
- You may get quite a few access errors on your laptop throughout the day
- The system does not show the correct RAM amount
- The screen will not display anything when you turn your system on
- Silence when attempting to initiate your laptop
