Fujitsu PRIMERGY B120 Ram
Your server RAM stores pieces of data that the central processing unit uses for programs. Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as all the data it holds gets deleted every time your turn the computer off. The clock speed of the RAM is dictated by the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is guided by the OS. Some RAM is mandatory for your server to run at all. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of the computer. If you are ever in doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
General indicators that your RAM memory will have to be replaced
- Emptiness fills the air as you boot up your system
- The screen does not turn on when booting up
- The OS cannot report the correct amount of RAM
- You tend to have weird errors showing up on your server throughout the day
