Fujitsu PRIMERGY TX200 Video Card
There are really only two kinds of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated cards are built-in to the computer itself, while dedicated is a separarate piece of hardware that gets installed. Dedicated video cards are required for any high-end games you play on a desktop like Mass Effect, Grand Theft Auto or Battlefield. Today, nVidia rules the dedicated card market, while AMD is in second. Both an integrated and dedicated video card processes the input and renders images to the monitor where you can see the results. Integrated display adapters are almost never as good as a dedicated video card, generally speaking. Most newer computers will have at least one PCIe slot open for a graphics card to be installed.
Hints of a failing desktop video card
- The graphics on your screen shows fragmented images
- Your Fujitsu reboots when starting a game
- The screen does not always turn on as you boot the PC
- The driver does not seem to install fully
