Fujitsu PRIMERGY TX300 Video Card
Dedicated video cards are pretty much required for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Battlefield, Fortnite or Far Cry. There are two types of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. An integrated graphic card is built-in to the main board, whilst a dedicated card is purchased and installed onto the main board. Almost all newer desktops will have at least one PCIe slot open for a graphics card to be added to the system. Integrated video cards are almost never as good as a dedicated video card, in general. A graphics card processes graphics and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where you can see the results. At the moment, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place.
What are some hints that my display card needs to be replaced?
- The monitor displays fragmented images
- The computer reboots when trying to start up a graphic intensive game
- Nothing seems to turn on when starting up
- The video card driver has issues installing all the way
