Gateway 960 Hard Drive
Installing a hard drive is an easy job if you have ever replaced a hard drive before, of course! Hard disk drives are manufactured in an array of capacities and types. Hard drives can be touchy and they can fail at any time for any number of reasons! Your Gateway 960 has a hdd, or hard disk drive, which contains a plethora of data in order for the computer to run. The hard drive type to get depends on your server. The capacity size of the hdd is quite simply a personal choice as this computer can accept any sized drive.
Important hints that your hard disk drive has to be replaced
- Your Gateway shuts down when you open certain programs
- The Gateway server may crash suddenly without warning while in use
- With older hard drives you can hear a tick, tick, tick sound coming from within the computer
- Your system stutters or becomes unresponsive off and on through the day
- The system may get stuck trying to start and may only boot up once in a while
