Gateway E-4400 Ram
Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as all the information held gets removed when the system shuts down. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores small bits of data that the central processing unit uses for applications. The speed of the RAM is governed by the specs of the motherboard, while the size is governed by the system software. RAM is crucial for a computer to run correctly. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as programs or emails. But, it has more to do with the speed of your Gateway E-4400. If you are ever in doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Elements of an ailing RAM board
- Emptiness fills the air when you boot up your desktop
- You get a lot of weird errors showing up on your desktop intermittently
- The software does not show the correct RAM amount
- The screen will not display correctly when starting up
