Gateway GR380 F1 Hard Drive
HDDs are made in varying storage capacities and brands. Your computer has a hdd, or hard disk drive, that stores your pictures and all the other data for the computer. Due to the sensitive nature of the drives, they have a unique ability to go out on you at any time for a wide variety of reasons. Replacing your main hdd can be easy if you know what you are doing, of course! The type of hard drive that you would need to get all depends on the connection inside your computer. The size of the drive is all a personal preference as most computers can handle any size drive.
Major indications that your main HDD is dead

- On some older computers you can hear a distinct clicking sound coming from within the computer
