Gateway GT4015H Wifi
Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy due to the fact that all you need to know beforehand is what OS you are running on your desktop. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have. The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your home network.
How do you know when your WiFi adapter will soon go out?
- Your WiFi in your Gateway desktop is unable to find a signal from your router
- The wireless adapter driver shows it as not installed
- The WiFi disconnects itself all the time
