HP G7000 Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your router and modem. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your HP laptop. It is much simpler to buy a new wireless USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there.
Simple indications of a poorly performing WiFi adapter
- Your WiFi on your laptop is unable to connect to the internet
- The wireless adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- The WiFi drops for no reason during the day
