HP G71 Screen
The G71 screen is not easy to remove unless you know what you are doing. It is a good idea to take the old screen out first as you begin to hunt for a replacement. It would help to know the physical size and part number of the bad display in order to facilitate finding a replacement. Buying a new HP G71 screen is easy, but it can take hours to actually try and put the new one in.
Major warnings of a barely functioning display
- Screen rapidly blinks or may flash off and on
- Vertical lines cover the screen
- Part of the screen is black
- The screen will not show
