HP Integrity CX2600 Video Card
Both an integrated and dedicated video card processes graphics and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where you can see the results. Dedicated video cards are typically a required piece of hardware for high-end games on the desktop like Battlefield, Fortnite or Far Cry. Almost all newer desktops will have at least one spot available for a dedicated video card to be installed on the motherboard. There are really only two kinds of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated graphics are integrated into the motherboard itself, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. Currently, graphics card maker nVidia is the most popular in the dedicated card market, while AMD is in second. Integrated, or onboard, graphics are almost never as good as a separate video card, in general.
