HP Pavilion DV3 Ram
Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like documents or pictures. Instead, it does have a correlation to the speed of the computer. Your desktop RAM stores random bits of data that the central processing unit uses for executing commands. RAM is a type of volatile memory as its storage is blanked out every time you turn your desktop off. A computer is unable to run without the necessary RAM properly installed. The RAM speed is dictated by the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is determined by the system software. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
Red flags that your RAM board is going out
- Silence when you power on your system
- The software fails to come up with the correct amount of RAM as it should
- The OS produces random reboots on your desktop as you use it
- The desktop screen will not display anything when booting up
