Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless because all you need to know is the operating system that is installed on your Intel S3000PT. It will be easier to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your server may have. The WiFi in your server, if so equipped, makes use of a wireless adapter to send and receive signals to and from your wireless router or modem. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the system will install the drivers automatically.
