Intel TIGH2U Video Card
Almost all newer desktops will have at least one spot available for a video card to be added to the system. There are really only two kinds of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated cards are built-in to the computer itself, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. Currently, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is in second. Dedicated video cards are required for any high-end games you play on a desktop like Battlefield, Fortnite or Far Cry. Integrated video cards will never be better than a dedicated video card, generally speaking. Both an integrated and dedicated video card computes and renders images to the monitor where it is displayed for you.
Major clues the video graphics card should need replacing
- The monitor produces fragmented images
- The computer freezes when starting a game
- The screen does not always show up when starting the computer
- A driver for the video card has problems installing like it should
