Lenovo 3000 Y410 Wifi
Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless because all you need to know is what OS you are running on your Lenovo laptop. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have. Most new Wifi adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter in order to talk to your router.
Key indicators that my onboard WiFi is crapping out?
- The wireless adapter driver cannot be installed
- Your wireless internet connection disconnects and reconnects over and over again
- The WiFi adapter in your Lenovo laptop does not connect at all
