Lenovo 7012 Ram
A computer will not boot without having the RAM installed. The RAM speed is governed by the specs of the motherboard, while the actual storage size is guided by the system software. RAM is a type of temporary storage as all the data it holds gets blanked out every time your turn the computer off. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like picture or movies. Instead, it will affect the speed of the computer. Your desktop RAM stores small bits of information that the CPU is currently using for executing commands. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
What to see if the RAM stick is on its last leg?
- The main screen will not display anything when booting up
- Emptiness fills the air when you power on your system
- The system produces access errors on your desktop intermittently
- The main operating system cannot report the correct amount of memory installed
