Lenovo C455 Wifi
Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your aio. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. The WiFi in your aio, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your home network. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your aio may have.
Some clues of a faulty onboard WiFi
- The aio wireless driver gives errors when installing
- Your WiFi signal drops multiple times during the day
- The wireless adapter on your aio is unable to connect to the internet
