Lenovo G40-80 Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware in order to talk to your wireless router or modem. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your Lenovo laptop. Most new Wifi adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the system will install the drivers automatically. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have.
Main clues your internal WiFi has very little life left
- The WiFi adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- Your WiFi in your Lenovo laptop is unable to connect to the internet
- Your wireless internet connection goes out randomly during the day
