Lenovo H30-00 Video Card
Integrated, or onboard, graphics are almost never as good as a separate video card, in general. There are really only two kinds of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated graphics are integrated into the motherboard itself, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. At the moment, graphics card maker nVidia is the most popular in the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. A graphics card processes the input and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where you can see the results. A dedicated graphics card is typically a required piece of hardware for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Mass Effect, Grand Theft Auto or Battlefield. Most newer computers should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a graphics card to be installed.
Simple indications of a poorly performing video graphics card
- The monitor depicts nothing
- Your Lenovo reboots when trying to start up a graphic intensive game
- The screen does not always come on when booting up
- The driver has problems installing properly
