Lenovo H405 Ram
The RAM speed is dictated by the specs of the motherboard, while the size is dictated by the system software. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores small bits of data for the CPU to use for executing commands. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as programs or emails. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of your desktop. Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as all the data it holds gets erased when the system shuts down. Having the RAM installed is mandatory in order for the Lenovo H405 to run. If there is ever a doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
Indications of a declining stick of RAM
- Silence as you try to initiate your system
- The OS produces access errors on your desktop as you use it
- The screen will not light up when you start your desktop
- The main operating system does not report the correct amount of RAM as it should
