Lenovo IdeaCentre A600 Wifi
The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your wireless router or modem. Searching for a new adapter is simple because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your desktop. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. It will be easier to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have.
Signs of a weakening onboard WiFi
- The wireless adapter driver shows it as not installed
- Your wireless internet connection drops multiple times every day
- The WiFi adapter on your desktop is unable to find a signal from your router
