Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3C Ram
The RAM in your computer stores random bits of information that the processor uses for programs. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. The clock speed of the RAM is prescribed within the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is dictated by the OS. Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as its storage is removed every time you turn your laptop off. Having the RAM installed is mandatory even for your laptop to boot up. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Red flags your laptop RAM has to be replaced
- The OS does not show the correct RAM amount
- Silence when trying to power on your laptop
- The laptop screen does not light up when starting up
- You tend to have random errors on your laptop intermittently
