Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3S Ram
RAM is considered volatile memory as all the information held gets erased when you shut down your system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as programs or emails. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores pieces of information that the computer uses for applications. The clock speed of the RAM is imposed within the specifications from the motherboard, while the size is determined by the software. Having the RAM installed is mandatory in order for a computer to boot up. If you are ever in doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
How do you know when your laptop memory needs replacing?
- The main screen will not display anything when you turn your system on
- You may get quite a few invalid access errors on your laptop intermittently
- Emptiness fills the air when you initiate your laptop
- The OS does not report the correct RAM amount
