Lenovo IdeaPad S400U Wifi
Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy due to the fact that all you need to know beforehand is the operating system that is installed on your laptop. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses a piece of hardware in order to talk to your wireless router or modem. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own.
What signals that my wireless internet adapter is not working right?
- The WiFi adapter in your Lenovo laptop does not connect at all
- Your WiFi signal has trouble connecting throughout the day
- The laptop wireless driver shows it as not installed
