Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 Ram
RAM is a type of volatile memory as the data it holds is removed every time your turn the computer off. Some RAM is mandatory in order for your laptop to boot up. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like picture or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of the computer. The clock speed of the RAM is predetermined through the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is guided by the system software. Your laptop RAM stores small bits of information for the CPU to use for programs. If you are ever in doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Major signs the RAM needs replacing
- You tend to have weird errors showing up on your laptop as you use it
- The system cannot report the correct RAM amount
- The main screen will not turn on when you turn your system on
- Emptiness fills the air when trying to start your laptop
