Lenovo ThinkCentre 0810 Ram
The RAM speed is governed by the specs of the motherboard, while the size is dictated by the system software. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like programs or emails. But, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores pieces of data that the CPU is currently using for executing commands. RAM is necessary even for your desktop to boot up. Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as all the data it holds gets removed every time your turn the computer off. If there is ever a doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
Important signs your RAM will have to be replaced
- Silence as you try to power on your system
- The main screen does not light up when booting up
- The software does not report the right memory amount
- You may get quite a few random reboots on your desktop intermittently
