Lenovo ThinkCentre 1962 Video Card

Almost all newer desktops should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a video card to be installed. There are two types of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated is built into the motherboard, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. Today, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is in second. Dedicated video cards are usually necessary for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Overwatch, Battlefield or Far Cry. A video card processes graphics and sends the rendered images to a monitor where you can see the results. Integrated, or onboard, graphics are not as good as dedicated graphic cards, in general.
