Lenovo ThinkCentre 1990 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your Lenovo desktop. Most USB wireless adapters are simply plug and play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your home network.
Major signs of a barely functioning onboard WiFi
- Your WiFi in your Lenovo desktop is unable to connect to the internet
- The desktop wireless driver shows it as not installed
- Your WiFi signal goes out randomly during the day
