Lenovo ThinkCentre 2110 Ram
Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like picture or movies. But, it will affect the speed of your desktop. The RAM in your computer stores random bits of data for the CPU to use for executing commands. Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as all the data it holds gets removed when you shut down your system. RAM is necessary even for your desktop to run correctly. The speed of the RAM is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, while the actual storage size is dictated by the system software. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Signs your RAM memory will die soon
- You tend to have random errors on your desktop throughout the day
- The main operating system fails to come up with the right memory amount
- Silence when trying to initiate your system
- The main screen will not light up when you start your desktop
