Lenovo ThinkCentre 3029 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because all you need to know is what OS you are running on your Lenovo desktop. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your router. It is much simpler to buy a new wireless USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the system will install the drivers automatically.
What warnings are present when my onboard WiFi needs to be replaced?
- The wireless signal disconnects and reconnects during the day
- The wireless adapter on your desktop is unable to find a signal from your router
- The wireless adapter driver gives errors when installing
