Lenovo ThinkCentre 3273 Video Card
At the moment, graphics card maker nVidia is the most popular in the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. Almost all newer desktops will have at least one PCIe slot open for a video card to be installed on the motherboard. Integrated, or onboard, graphics will never be better than a separate video card, in general. Both an integrated and dedicated video card processes graphics and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where you can see the results. Dedicated video cards are pretty much required for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Overwatch, Battlefield or Far Cry. There are two types of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated graphics are integrated into the motherboard itself, while dedicated is a separarate piece of hardware that gets installed.
Clues the video card has very little life left
- The monitor produces nothing
- The Lenovo ThinkCentre 3273 restarts when trying to start up a graphic intensive game
- Nothing seems to come on when booting up
- A driver for the video card does not seem to install properly
