Lenovo ThinkCentre 3291 Video Card

Today, nVidia rules the dedicated card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. There are really only two kinds of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated cards are built-in to the computer itself, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. Integrated video cards are almost never as good as dedicated graphic cards, in general. Most newer computers will have at least one PCIe slot open for a dedicated video card to be installed on the motherboard. Dedicated video cards are required for high-end games on the desktop like Far Cry, World of Warcraft or Battlefield. Both an integrated and dedicated video card computes and sends the rendered images to a monitor where it is displayed for you.
